We leave Hospital and go to Padornelo. The Way continues next to the LU-633 along about 1 kilometer and then turns off to Sabugos and Temple. Here: 42.707510, -7.110687

Now we leave the asphalt and the Way takes us to Padornelo which is 1 kilometer away.

In Padornelo we find the Parish Church of San Juan de Padornelo covered by snow, which did not allow us to come closer to her. It is of the fifteenth century. Its walls are of masonry like other churches in the area and the roof is covered with slabs of slate. It has a covered space in a side entrance. Inside it houses a baroque altarpiece of the XVII Century and several sculptures.

There are barely 300 meters from a steep climb from Padornelo to the Alto do Poio (a mountain pass).

From the Alto do Poio, 1335 meters altitude, the Way runs parallel to the LU-633 road to Fonfría along about 3.5 kilometers. The church of San Xoán/Juan de Fonfría was built in the sixteenth century. Subsequent alterations were made, the most important in 1964. There was a hospital of pilgrims in Fonfría.

We leave behind Fonfría and the Way takes us now to the village of Biduedo. The Way continues parallel to the LU-633 road a few meters away of it along 1.3 kilometers to turn right. Biduedo is located almost a kilometer away with its small chapel the Ermita de San Pedro. The atrium with three arches at the entrance highlights.

The construction with slabs of slate of this small garden draws attention. Pilgrims have left flowers that as is seen defy the winter.
