We are in Domaio which is one of the parishes of the municipality of Moaña, in the province of Pontevedra, in the Ría de Vigo. We will visit the place known as Poza da Moura.

Rianxo Seafront, Province of A Coruña. Ría de Arousa.



Today we visit the seafront of Rianxo.

The seafront is almost 2 kilometers long. It connects the urban center of Rianxo from the Port of Setefogas to A Torre beach in the neighboring parish of Taragoña. The walk offers views of the Ensenada de Rianxo in the Ria de Arousa and the Sierra del Barbanza. Before reaching A Torre Beach we will see O Pazo beach, the Castelo da Lúa (“Castle of the Moon”) and the mouth of the River Te.

Today we start our series of visits to the Romanesque churches in this land. They are many and varied and we will go visiting them, one by one.

We are in the Parish Church of Santa Maria de Tourón which is one of the nine parishes of the municipality of Ponte Caldelas. It belongs to the province of Pontevedra, is very near its capital. The church is located beside the PO-532 road about 3 kilometers from the centre of Ponte Caldelas.

Baños de Molgas, Ourense. Spa, River Arnoia, Roman Bridge and Park Ansuíña. Part 2.




Today we will visit the Ansuíña Park Recreation Area. It has ample green areas, birches, poplars and oak trees, the facilities of the Municipal Swimming Pool and several wooden bridges that cross the Arnoia. On the other side of the river there are other sports facilities. Can continue upstream, there is a fishing preserve nearby.

Baños de Molgas, Ourense. Spa, River Arnoia, Roman Bridge and Park Ansuíña.Part 1.




Baños de Molgas is at the center of the province of Ourense, 35 kilometers from its provincial capital, has just over than 2,000 inhabitants. The municipality is crossed by three rivers Tioira, Sor and above all the Arnoia.

The hot springs are the most important economic resource of Baños de Molgas, with the Spa Hotel built in the late nineteenth century, in 1873.

There are also other attractions: the surroundings of the Spa with the Roman Bridge and Park Ansuíña (which we will visit today), the pre-Romanesque ninth century church of Santa Eufemia de Ambia and the Sanctuary of la Virgen de los Milagros, among others.

This is the third part of this chapter dedicated to the story of our Way of Saint James from Liñares in O Cebreiro to Triacastela. We were in the village of Biduedo visiting the Ermita de San Pedro. Biduedo belongs to the municipality of Triacastela.

Aldán, Cangas de Morrazo. Paseo Carlos Pérez and the Fishing Port.




Today we visit Aldán in Cangas de Morrazo again. After seeing the beaches of San Cibrán and Los Picos (Click Here: San Cibrán Beach and Los Picos Beach in Aldán, Cangas de Morrazo.) we continue our walk from the end of the boardwalk along the Paseo Carlos Perez to the fishing port of Aldán.

We leave Hospital and go to Padornelo. The Way continues next to the LU-633 along about 1 kilometer and then turns off to Sabugos and Temple. Here: 42.707510, -7.110687

Now we leave the asphalt and the Way takes us to Padornelo which is 1 kilometer away.

San Cibrán Beach and Los Picos Beach in Aldán, Cangas de Morrazo.




We are in the province of Pontevedra, on the Atlantic coast, southwest of Galicia. The Ría de Aldán lies between the rías of Pontevedra and Vigo at the end of the Morrazo Peninsula.

Aldán is one of the parishes that belong to the municipality of Cangas de Morrazo. Among its many attractions, which also will show here, we want to highlight the many beaches and coves that you can enjoy in Cangas.

Today we start with the beaches of San Cibrán and Los Picos, located at the mouth of the River Orxas in Aldán.

A visit to Amorín, a parish of Tomiño. The Miño river.




Today we visit the parish of Amorín in Tomiño. We will see the river Furnia and its Aula Abierta de la Naturaleza (´Open Classroom of Nature´), the river dock located in a former sand extraction area in the river Miño and the Parish Church of San Juan/Xoán.




Amorín is one of the 15 parishes in the Municipality of Tomiño. It is located to the south of the Province of Pontevedra, on the River Miño near the mouth.
