Today we visit the parish of Amorín in Tomiño. We will see the river Furnia and its Aula Abierta de la Naturaleza (´Open Classroom of Nature´), the river dock located in a former sand extraction area in the river Miño and the Parish Church of San Juan/Xoán.
Amorín is one of the 15 parishes in the Municipality of Tomiño. It is located to the south of the Province of Pontevedra, on the River Miño near the mouth.

Former
sand extraction area of the river Miño, in the place called A Ribeira today there is a pier, river
beach and a recreational area. There is also a small monument tribute to the
fishermen.
