Bande has about 2300 inhabitants. It has also great wealth in archeological sites of different historical periods perhaps highlighting those of the Roman era. Bande is a place of passage of the Via XVIII or Via Nova. The site Aquis Querquennis is of particular interest together with the Church of Santa Comba de Bande pre-Romanesque jewel.
Today we visit the Parish Church of San Pedro.
The church is Baroque style and it is of the eighteenth century. Its sober architecture forms a set with the rectory that is beside.

The three oak trees as according to popular tradition indicate the time of planting potatoes, corn and beans. This is the oak that indicates the time of planting beans. Also we can see the rectory to the right of the picture.
