Fraga (Forest) of Catasós in Lalín. Part 2.

Click here for part 1: Fraga (Forest) of Catasós in Lalín. Part 1.

We had left the souto with the chestnut trees aligned. We continue our walk.

The path leads us to the Sign Number 7. It indicates us to go to the right. We are moving towards a forest clearing that is next to the meadow. (42.636998, -8.092903).

We can see the Sign Number 8 in the background.

Now the Sign Number 8 indicates us to go to the left. From here we began to descend towards the end of the path, the slope is moderate.

We continue to walk down the hill.

We see the path indicates that we should turn to the left. It seems that the trees with their branches show us the way.

This is another souto manso. As can be seen it is also delimited by a wall.

What is this? This is another souto manso (correct answer).

We find the Sign Number 9 in the middle of this souto and continue walking.

These small vertical stakes that mark the path are placed throughout the entire signposted route.

The path approaches the souto where we have been before in which the Sign Number 6 is.

Now we are again in the souto of the Sign Number 6.

We again see the perfectly aligned chestnut trees.

Now we go to the point of the double sign. It is the Sign Number 5.

We are beside the Sign Number 5, this time we take the path on the left.

The path goes down sharply and turn left at the Sign Number 10 which it is damaged.

Sign Number 10.

We continue descending the hillside and see the area where the information panels are at the beginning of the route.

We can see in the center of the image the path by which we descend to reach the starting point. To the right of the picture the Sign number 1.

The End
