We leave the tower and approach the Museum of Shoemakers. This was a trade that had much importance here.
Under the museum rooms there is a cave which contains some legends. The truth is that it was also used as a cellar. This is its entrance.
This is a room of the Museum of Shoemakers.
This is one of the battlements that belonged to the castle and it was moved to the outside of the wall where it is today around 100 metres from the tower.

Now we have to look upwards. Upon entering this cave that is in the Museum of Shoemakers, we advance to the end of the cave and there is a kind of skylight, we look upwards and what we see is the light that comes from the battlement.
The Parish Church of San Salvador de Vilanova dos Infantes is located at about 100 metres in a straight line from the Tower.
XVII century church. The Romanesque Christ highlights in its interior, it was in the female Monastery of Santa María founded by the mother of San Rosendo, Ilduara Eriz. The monastery does not exist today.
